In the Mayan Daily Insights, Thursday, September 3, 2009 8 Men, the Eagle. Earlier this week I wrote an article about the upcoming day of September 9, 2009. This current cycle appears to set the stage for a shift in our universe. The messages with each day are strong and direct. Today is no exception.
The Eagle is the glyph for today, and there is no accident in the choice of this majestic bird to serve us as a sign of our country. Not politics, but the people and our values. We must remember to uphold those values that run deep within us. When we honor those values within ourselves we serve as example to those around us. Rules with no personal commitment behind it have no meaning, and may even take us in the wrong direction. Is this what we have come to, empty promises and broken dreams?
Today let us remember the message of the eagle. If we are not in service to ourselves or to others where are we? Isn’t service merely the act of holding a dream and making it come true? Isn’t being in service saying, “I will do what I can to support this dream”? The number tone tells us that we have everything we need on both a body and spirit level to stand our ground, holding the dream firmly centered within our heart. If it is not already done, make the decision, and hold open a dedicated space for what will be.
