In the Mayan Daily Insights, Sunday, September 6, 2009 11 Edznab or Flint. Living a life takes a lot of balance. Our eyes carry us in so many directions, far away from our center point. We are designed to be aware of what surrounds us.
Still our consciousness remains within and dedicated to self. We can give our time, even our life force or chi to another, but we cannot give our consciousness away.
Edznab teams today with the number eleven. If the number system is like a meal, with steps leading up to the banquet, then eleven and twelve are like the digestion and absorption. What good is the meal if it does not nourish us?
How is Edznab involved in this day? While our eyes carry us to distant places we can always find a way to see our own reflection. Look into the eyes of another and you will always see something of you. No matter how far we wander from our own consciousness we will always be drawn home again. Our consciousness can (and should) be used to review our experience and extract what is of value, just like the digestion of that great meal. Let the banquet continue.
