The upcoming day of 9/9/9 magically connects with the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, with day One in the number tones, and the face Glyph Imix, the Alligator. Imix is the sign for birth. Does this add up as a sign of a new beginning?
Our planet is in a constant state of renewal. We are motivated through our dualistic nature, and life is encouraged to move forward through the ebb and flow of our tides. Change is inevitable, and sometimes feared, but change gives us every opportunity to begin again.
Allow me to share with you some of the events which have occurred in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar recently, and how I see these events tied to 9/9/9 and the transitions we face. This day of 9/9/9 was preceded by an amazing 13 day cycle in the Mayan calendar, beginning with a starry night of Lamat, reaching the pinnacle of universal empowerment under the Mayan influence of Ix.
In the second half of the cycle we traverse down the path into the value found in our acts of service. How could it be possible to enrich and gain even when our focus is devoted to something other than ourselves? This is an amazing journey, this walk on earth. The cycle concludes with a powerful release and renewal as we step into the light of Ahau, in the place where miracles manifest.
Is this cycle, when combined with the power of 9/9/9, a glimpse at the world to come? Some may think that our optimism is like the dream-state of the child, and others call us wishful thinkers. In our hearts we know what we truly desire in this world, and the most powerful of manifesting teachers tell us that what we envision we create.
So let us keep our hearts at the helm, serving as the compass for our mind and our will. Let us keep our feet beneath us to carry us each step of the way, with the breath of passion to fill our sails.
If the current Mayan cycle and the day 9/9/9 is indeed a “sign”, may our eyes be open to this event. Our day-walk is the illusion, not meant to map our tomorrow. Our world of events is only evidence of our prior visions as they grew into life experience. Don’t let the world today dictate what you receive tomorrow.
If there is no “sign”, only our vivid imaginations, then let us take this as an opportunity to direct our focus and the power of our spirit into creating a bright tomorrow. One pebble may disappear in the twists and bends of the road, but together those pebbles build a mountain, giving the road the most glorious destination. The world is ours, let us carry it gracefully forward.
