Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

In the Mayan Daily Insights, Tuesday, September 1, 2009 6 Ben, the Reed. The road may give us the straight and narrow, and no matter which way we look at it there is no other way it can be. When we see the straight and narrow we see nothing more than our chosen steps. We can only follow one path at a time.

Now that we have painted what appears to be a very constrictive picture, let’s bring in today’s message through Ben, the Reed. We do not live in such a rigid world, even though at times it appears that way.

The quality we investigate with the Mayan glyph of Ben, the Reed, is that we are the one who is on the journey. Anything that stands too rigid can more easily break. While it is important that we stay focused we can still bring in flexibility to withstand those things that challenge us. We do not live in such a rigid world that we cannot endure a few setback, modifications, or changes to our plans.
