In the Mayan Daily Insights, Tuesday, October 20, 2009 is 3 Ik (Wind). Day in an day out we are given opportunity to see through the eyes of the world and bring into that experience as much of our perception and consciousness as we choose. The Mayan calendar support this, with a different look each day because, after all, we don’t always “get it” the first time around.
Does this have that tone of being treated like children? Let’s be thankful for that, because children are expected to grow and explore. I’ll take child-like any day!
What does all of this have to do with three Ik? Every day we have a chance to see life as something that happens to us or to see life as if we’re here on purpose. Ik is the wind, the infusion of our spiritual presence. We don’t see the wind, but we feel it, and when the wind is strong it cannot be denied.
As we carry through this day, or any day to come, we can look high and low for something that defines us, or we can slow down enough to feel the gentle presence of Ik within us. This is the three quality of the day, the amazing results that come about when we have both movement and purpose working toward a common goal.
