Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

In the Mayan Daily Insights, Tuesday, October 13, 2009 is 9 Men (Eagle). Yesterday we looked through the eyes of the Jaguar, and from that perspective we could see that we are powerful creators. We convert thought into action, ideas into words, and fears into rocks along the pathway.

If we are really so powerful then are we not also aligned with the infinite possibilities? Only as much as we can have at any given moment! Still it is there, the chance to make today the greatest of days.

Look at what is available to you. You have the ability to dream, think, plan, unravel, laugh, create, envision. These are all gifts to us, fragments of the universe presented to us every moment of every day. The universe is here to serve you through the empowering qualities of Caban, Cauac, Imix, and many others.

We can turn back to the universe and say, “How can I serve you?” We can look deeply in our heart and ask ourselves, “How can I serve you?” We can turn to one another and offer our wisdom and stories. We can be the eagle for ourselves first and foremost, and step into that place of honor to encourage and inspire others to take that step within their own place of honor.

The universe is here to serve you, and it is our role to receive and utilize what is offered. Soon enough we find ourselves so empowered that we too can stand up and ask, “How can I serve you”, and the blessed gifts of the universe are carried on, unfolding and enriching the lives of not one, but many lives each and every day.
