In the Mayan Daily Insights, Friday, October 16, 2009 is 12 Edznab, the Flint. I look forward nowadays to the day of Edznab. Even thought we are in October, a fall month in the northern hemisphere, I feel as though we are in the midst of spring cleaning. What a great opportunity, to look deeply into ourselves and release what no longer serves us.
How often do we keep the experiences and expressions that leave us in a lower place than we want to be? We do this for many reasons. Sometimes it’s because we have a difficult time seeing any other way, having been hypnotized into believing we have nothing else. Given the opportunity, would you choose to keep what you have today, even if it doesn’t really express your capabilities?
We are reminded today how easy it is to look at what has come to us as our allotment in life. This is far from the truth. Today is a great day to take that step, let go of the walls we have created, and have faith that we can achieve more.
