In the Mayan Daily Insights, Wednesday, October 7, 2009 is 3 Muluc, the Water. When we look into the water we see a reflection. Our eyes may catch the physical form, noticing the lines of time or the weariness of the day. Our spirit sees far beyond this outer wrapping.
Who is there when you look into the mirror, is it the innocence of the child that lives within? We see beyond the stories of the day, searching for a glimpse of something real. Maybe then we can go back to our hard work and even the struggle of the moment.
On this day of Muluc, the Water we are not asked to judge in any way, only to see who stands before us when we look into the mirror. Then we can see that there is more to life than the shell or the movement of the waves. Seeing our self takes us beyond the depth, width, height, or time, and adds a new dimension.
