Is there design by reason, or are we surrounded by coincidence and serendipitous events? If we take the stance of chance then the odds are stacked against us. There could only be a finite number of opportunities available, and at some point luck must run out. But if we take the viewpoint of reason behind design then we cannot help but feel supported, even in the darkest of times.
Last night we slept in the light of the full moon. Even in the darkness there was enough light to find our way. High above the earth I was amazed by the chain of reflectivity, seeing the light reflected from the moon yet again reflected by the water.
Today is Four Cib, the vulture in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. Our Mayan daily insight for today focuses on the support given to us in any transition. Whether we travel from life to death, from night to day it doesn’t matter. There is completeness in our travels here on earth.
So even in those times when it appears like we are in the dark it appears that we are watched over. Subtle as it is the support of Cib is powerful nonetheless. It takes a special Being to support someone through their transition yet still allow them to find their own way.
