Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

Today in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar we greet Wednesday November 18th with Six Chuen, the monkey. This brings us the benefit of enjoyment, playfulness, and that joy that is found when the inner child is entranced by an amazing sight.

We learn so easily when we give anything our attention. The more we give, the more we receive. The more we are present the more we experience. We can just as easily avoid the world around us, missing out on so much. But, when there is something appealing in our world we are able to turn our attention fully to the moment.

How can we make the most of our life and our experience? By giving our full attention to everything we do. How can we optimize our focus? By instilling into our life something that will naturally and easily intrigue us, that’s how. We can approach anything in life with enjoyment, curiosity, playfulness and enthusiasm.
