The moon was amazing last night, and I could not help but repeatedly glance at it while driving home at dusk. The evening brought my Power of Group Intent teleconference, and talk of this full moon.
In yesterday’s post we looked into the darkness to see the germination of the seed, something that happens in the underground safe space. Eventually life emerges to greet the sun.
Today, December 2nd, 2009 is 7 Chicchan in the Mayan Tzolkin and our Mayan Daily Insight.
Two is the number of relating, and we can see many connections, even if they appear to be opposites: This day is greeted by the sun in the daylight and the moon in full reflectivity of the light with this months “cold moon”. The seed opens itself to the world, but a part of it remains nestled in its safe underground space, its footing so to speak. Opposites are not always opposing, most of the time they support.
Chicchan is about passion and appreciation for this world we live in. While not every expression that rebounds back to us is big and profound, although that moon was amazing, there is always a counter for every one of our actions. The results? Exchange, kinetic action, support, greetings, life, Chicchan. Could this be what 2012 will be like, a celebration of life? Chicchan, our glyph for today seeks to connect us through the number two, and reminds us that we can connect to our own creations through celebration right here and now.
The Mayan Daily Insights is a daily look at the individual qualities that together empower us. Subscribe to the Feed, it’s as easy as a click and a smile. Individual sessions by phone are available to guide you in your own connectivity and empowerment process.

Editorial comment: yesterday the day tone was incorrected stated as two when it should have been seven. My bad, I apologize for any misconceptions. It must have been an overlay of December 2 into the mayan glyph and tone space. Well, it was a day of Chicchan, and in the generous nature of this glyph we have an enormous space to experience our mistakes and respond with disappointment, surprise, confusion, amazement, even awakening.
Amazing as always
I guess I’m going to have to read up some more but this was a pretty good place to start.
Thank you very much for providing this post.
