It’s reasonable, in times of transition, to keep a watchful eye to assure everything will be alright. As I look into today’s story, as it is presented on a visionary level, I see the meaning, and do everything I can to communicate its message.
Yesterday’s message talked of the powerful grip that the mind has on our view. Today that aspect of self appears like an impatient child, more interested in having its way than doing what is best. I’m reminded of the expression, “That’s the way the cookie crumbles”, though we don’t have to see it in such a pessimistic way.
Anything we create has its time of formation. Even at this point, with the number nine taking us only one step before completion, it is clear that we can still interfere in our attempts to have things suit our willful side.
Today in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar is 9 Manik, the Deer or Hand. Sometimes we need to let our next step lie in gentle hands, left outside our touch until the right moment. This is Manik, the voice of patience.
So today we focus on that perspective of wanting something that might appear out of reach. All things come about in their own time. The cake will not have its best qualities taken from the oven too early. We can invest our time is clearing the way for what will come, readying the platter on which the cake will rest, or even being so bold to go right for the forks. What a gift we are given, the ability to feel our taste buds tingle in anticipation.
