We have the expression, “It is always darkest before the dawn”. So much of what we expect is based upon our patterning, so then what is our experience when we are on the verge of something new? Transformation is one of the most desired experience, as well as the most feared.
Today is January 12, 2010 is 9 Cimi, or Death in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. Again let’s bring in a reminder that we are not speaking of physical death, though that transformation is certainly “life changing”. There are many other transitions we can experience when we step into a place of stillness, nothingness, and to a busy mind that can seem very death-like.
Today is the ninth day of the cycle, with the number nine having an almost magical quality. It is the combination of three three’s, turning together in a multi-dimensional spin that combines connectivity with movement.
Some people have great fortune in their ability to create within the same parameters for a lifetime. There must be reason that this seemingly ideal state is not the norm. We are seekers, we create and release, explore and assimilate. Cimi, the glyph for today, is an indicator that letting go is not death: it is the one time we can let go and create at the same time. We can awaken refreshed and renewed, and ready for what tomorrow brings, and this is perfect timing since tomorrow is the tenth day, the day of manifestation.
