Today is Friday January 8, 2010, and 5 Ik, the Wind in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. How do we relate this turning of the wheels with today’s events?
So much of what we create today has some degree of consciousness with it – that part that makes it feel new, gives it the air of excitement. The air, the wind, the influence if Ik. What is the wind? It is our higher presence, not the thinker and analytical part, but the creator.
What good is the being without the breath? Our “form” gives us a consistent container, an identity, but for us to stay the same day in and day out would not serve us. The number five is known for its radical nature, pushing us forward from the comforts of the womb and out into the world.
