Mayan Daily Insights: How We Learn About Ourselves, One Day At A Time

How did we manage to create such a wide gap between those who are prosperous in living and those prosperous in longing?  It can appear like every time we start to enjoy ourselves again that there is something there that could easily deflate the uplift we felt.

I sit here and wonder how I could write such a gloomy statement, and work harder to shift into a more wonderful post, and as I wander away from my own thoughts I notice little things about my wireless keyboard.  I turn it over and continue in my visual journey, and I notice a health warning on the back.  Listen closely and you can hear the air escape from yet another attempt to rise to a more creative level.

How did we manage to create this gap, separating prosperity from creativity and enjoyment?   Looking back in history there are so many who have lived marginally, and so many of us feel that way today.  Is this the way life is supposed to be, or are we still learning how to live and love it in the same breath?

Today is January 11, 2010, and it is 8 Chicchan, the Serpent in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.  Where is our passion for living, the enthusiastic pulsing within us that drives us to greatness?  When we talk about the law of attraction it’s not about what we think, its about what we feel.  We can love what we do, give from the heart, live for today and still build tomorrow.

The number eight has a reputation as the number of money.  Turn it on its side and it is an infinity symbol.  With infinity we can give to our hearts content and will never feel depleted.  It is a cycle, an endless flow.  Today is 8 Chicchan, and our wake up call that is time to bridge the chasm to success.  What comes around goes around.
