Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

Today is the fourth day of the new year and new decade, and today we begin a new 13 day cycle.  Isn’t it great that we can take the time to prepare ourselves for our next creation?  In fact, with all our experience, and the benefit of those around us, how could we ever think that we walk into anything without at least some preparation?

I say this with the mirror facing me, wondering how I could have times when I doubt myself or dare to say I don’t know enough to give my best.  We really are amazing.  It’s not just our education – there are so many people creating through genuine brilliance that does not come from a book.  We can do so much when we bring together all the qualities and abilities available to us.  Where do we bring it all together?

Today is January 4, 2010 is 1 Edznab, the Flint in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar.  We may be at the beginning with the number one, but we are not walking into this day without a tremendous power.  Whether we see it in our heart, our head, or our higher existence we are bigger than the image through which we usually see ourselves.  Edznab is a reminder to let go of the little things, and see the powerhouse behind the steps.
