Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

Ah, day 13 here already.  How time flies.  Truth is, when everything is in alignment it doesn’t matter what day it is, or what time.  What is simply is, and everything comes together.

This is the story for today, January 16, 2010, as we explore the characteristics of 13 Oc, the dog.  We’ve been practicing all our lives, but for illustration purposes let’s talk just of the last few days and the faces we have seen.

Yesterday we saw the influence of the water, Muluc, and could see how easily the water carried our message with ripples spreading wider and wider across the pond.

The day before it was the Star, Lamat, accompanied by the balanced overlay of sun and moon through the eclipse.  All is well, and we will see it when we allow our head to lift above the clouds.  Even the hand of Manik showed us that our awareness and our freedom are intermixed, one supporting the other, and so on.

But today is Oc, the dog, and as we grow we emulate what we had seen on the outside and find the like ability within ourselves.  Consistency is the story of Oc, holding the dream in a sacred place, being loyal to our own vision.

Happy 13^th day, it is such a magical moment.  Tomorrow we begin another adventure, returning to the first step, but look how much stronger the next beginning will be.
