Today is the last day of a thirteen day cycle, and what have we learned?  A raindrop falls from the sky; a tear travels down a face.  The river flows on until it meets the ocean, and escapes its collective vessel and rises silent and unseen in vapor form.  Move on, be independent, but gather with those like-minded.

Wednesday February 24, 2010 is 13 Muluc or Water in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.  In these few days, these thirteen days each one of us has traveled a unique journey.  The majority of our attention has been spent engrossed in the moment, but at times we step back and become the observer.  Do we stand back and watch the ripples on the water, or jump full force into the warm embrace of the water?

Tomorrow begins another cycle, one that is its own.  This is one of the most incredible things about being here in this world, blending the ability to start anew while carrying forward the wisdom acquired.  Amazing, isn’t it?

The Maya’s believed the number 13 to be magical, perhaps the blend of old and new is the reason why.  I will accept this concept as one of my own magical moments, with many more to come.  Join me, if you please, together we will continue such a wonderful adventure, and still continue in our separate paths.
