It cannot help but be Uniquely Your Own

Please allow me to shift the focus for a moment and share a little bit about me. Today’s posting is a little later than I prefer, as I am returning from travels and a very hectic weekend.  Today will be a day of introspect as I digest everything that I learned this weekend.  Learning is movement and change.  Today I turn and look at myself and the way I have been doing.  It’s exactly that, looking at the actions I take to express my own voice, the ideas I have formulated from many years of studies and my own perspective.  Somewhere in everything I do there is a part of me.

No matter who we are or how set we are in our ways we can and will always be given opportunity to learn and change.  It may happen through a new method, or feedback we receive as we share our ideas with the world.  We will always have the chance to receive something new, just like we take another breath.  We choose how we breath, what we eat, and what we think and believe in.

Today, Tuesday February 23, 2010 is 12 Lamat , the symbol of the Rabbit or Star in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.  I could not write about this day in advance of my trip because I had to be here in this moment writing these words with the experience of the days preceding.

Lamat is one of the most graceful of symbols in the Mayan calendar, though technically we could see them all in that way.  Lamat means opening our eyes to the vastness of possibilities.  Coupled with the number twelve, a day the speaks of creating wisdom in our next step it is easy to see that we can move in so many directions.  Change is not becoming something that we were not before, it is giving us yet another chance to combine our perceptions of the world with our own consciousness and express it in a way that can’t help but be uniquely our own.  It is nothing new, we’ve been doing that since our first breath.  We simple choose how, when, and how much we accept and we offer.

The Mayan Daily Insights is a free intuitive reading of the Mayan Calendar.
