It’s easy enough, when things are going as expected, to shift away from consciousness. How else could we manage all the things in our lives? There are times though when it pays off to pay attention.
There are many expressions, like “right place, right time”. Today is Monday February 8, 2010 and 10 Ben the Reed in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. It pays off to be flexible enough to respond to the outcome, and attentive enough to know when it’s time to make your move. The reed demonstrates that flexibility, responding to its environment while maintaining its own purpose.
This day is the 10th day, and many say that the number ten signifies the day of manifestation or completion. The image given for this day is not focused on what we get, but on being there, right place, right time. This means getting out of our head, sometimes even out of our hearts, and having focus on where we stand in life. It pays off to pay attention, able to see those subtle waves of opportunity and gifts that come in disguise.
Have a great Monday, and let’s remember to count our blessings.
