Make Believe – We Have to Play Along

I never really know what to expect from the serpent.  Our passion rises and we jump head first into the wave of experience, rolling through the highs and lows that resemble in a way the movement of the serpent.  What can we expect from life, how much can we put thought in a space built for experience?

Saturday February 20, 2010 is 9 Chicchan, the Serpent in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.  The number nine is a very energetic one, much like the passion we spoke of earlier.  It takes a great deal of energy, the contraction and release of several muscles to create the movement of the serpent.

If we hold this concept up to anything we deeply want in life, how much of ourselves are we ready to commit?  Are we willing to give it everything we’ve got, making it a holistic dedicated movement in order to propel ourselves to the next level?

Like I said, I never really know what to expect from the serpent.  It’s easy to get caught up in the passion and play along, or maybe the secret is that we whole-heartedly play along in order to bring ourselves fully into the story.  Isn’t that the way it is with anything we want, we have to play along in the beginning stages while the dream becomes a reality.  That’s what I’m talking about – we “make” believe, make our own believe.  Silly little serpent: slithering back and forth just to get from one point to another.
