The greatest empowerment we have available to us is our own commitment. That’s it. Post for the day.
Thursday February 25, 2010 is 1 Oc, the Dog in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. As I look at some of the considerations I have had in the past about my own world and the transitions experienced I see it as if the teeter totter were placed on top of the fence. No matter how much effort is given to balancing the task will be nearly impossible.
So I stop for a moment and look at the other side, and restore myself through the knowledge acquired. The greatest empowerment we have available to us is our own commitment.
It’s easy to oscillate, spinning around in our own ideas of how important what we’ve already created is, and try to fit yesterdays pieces into today’s puzzle, but it doesn’t always fit. Far too much energy is needed to maintain something that is broken, and when we try to “hold it all together” we make very little progress.
Then we turn to 1 Oc, the dog, and we see the other option. Start again, right where you stand, and this time make a choice. It’s either here, or there, not both at the same time. Our ability to commit ourselves fully and completely makes life so much easier, freeing our energy for creating, not maintaining.
