Eb is an interesting Mayan symbol to write about. By name it is described as “the road”, but some believe it has to do with abundance and prosperity. It is all and the same. When I focus on this particular instance on February 7, 2010, and 9 Eb the Road in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, the image I see is the road having branched off in two directions, but eventually that road comes together again.
Isn’t that what it’s like: we direct our energies in so many directions, leaving little pieces of ourselves in many points of time along the way? How much is our choice, to bring those branches together? The number nine is a powerful one, very empowering for us to bring things together. It brings together the first number that demonstrates relationship and unity, which is then multiplied by its own value.
This is a vast world, a place where it is easy to feel small and spread too thin. This is especially true in times like these when so many add their voice to the story of recession. Just remember, the more we are here, focused on our own path and creations, the more we have available to us right now. Abundance does us no good when its in someone else’s hands, we must open our own hands and let our own abundance manifest.
