Yesterday brought our focus back into the simplest place to be, right here and now and in the moment. There is no way for us to know the fragrance of the flower, or the feel of the earth when we’re zooming along so fast in our vehicles, right? If that last statement is indeed true then how can we truly know what we really feel and want when we’re moving along so fast within our minds?
Today is Saturday February 13, 2010 which brings us to 2 Edznab or Flint in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.
As I “tune into” the message of 2 Edznab, the Flint, I see the actual creation of a spark. It does take the coming together of two to make a spark, connecting in a fleeting moment with enough conflict between them to create that flash of light. Now I feel like I am already talking about tomorrow, but that day will come soon enough.
The point of today is to find our clarity, and we cannot do so until we see what we have and who we are. When I turn and look at what surrounds us, the “pause” message of yesterday and the “snap that brings it all together” of tomorrow, I find myself appreciating this opportunity to realize who I am, and maybe go so far within myself to reconnect with my own purpose and value.
