Renewal is a strong part of our lives. There are many examples that we accept: resting when we are weary so that we can awaken refreshed; taking our shower in the morning before a busy day; even spending the money that we earn to buy our food or clothing. It’s a never ending wheel this world.
Transformation is a must, without it our world would be cluttered, almost uninhabitable. So we move on, let it go, change our mind, lighten our heart, shake it off, and so on. Today is Thursday February 11, 2010 and 13 Cib the Vulture in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, and today we celebrate our ability to transform on so many levels.
Not only is this day the day of the vulture and transformation, but it is also the 13th day, a day the Mayan called magical. We have the ability to shift from one experience, carrying the wisdom along with us, and step into a whole new level, and we do this so many times through our lifetime. It is not “dropping the ball” on where we had been, but we have to let go of yesterday before we can fully embrace today.
Today let’s celebrate our ability to create change, and our ability to accept the change that is beyond our control. Transformation is a gift, not a curse, and without transformation we would wake up every day to nothing new.
