There’s meaning to the madness, and when we’re talking about making an impression, living the good life, experiencing to the max we are talking about the synergy that comes when we step out of our private little space and interact.
Our steps are set up in two’s, right then left. Our procreation is a two-based system as well. It takes two to tango, and two is not known as the “loneliest number”.
Wednesday, March 24, 2010 is 2 Caban, the Earth in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. Today’s thought is a very yin-yang based message. Life is all about movement, and the yin yang symbol embraces that idea with its constant flowing in a harmonious pattern.
The domain of Caban, the symbol or glyph we are exploring today, is the Earth. Big picture, simple message: It is not our oneness that makes this world a great place, it is our individual contributions in the mix that count. Universal oneness is great, but look at where you are, you are here taking up space, counting the minutes, and connecting with others. Isn’t it great that the outcome to our interactions isn’t just what’s inside our own head? It’s a combination of my world and your world and together we can go a million places. Sure there are times when we wish we could have everything go “our way”, but think about how much we would miss!
Today is the day of Caban, a day to appreciate the ability to connect, communication, share, and create amazing things here in this big round rock we call Earth. Everything good comes in two’s.
