Mayan Daily Insights: Our Qualities, Virtues, and Values

We have an expression, “Hit the ground running”, and while it’s a great testament for our ability to give whatever we are working on our best it is not the only way to touch down again.  Sometimes we hit the brakes, and hit them hard.  How else do we correct our course, or enjoy the fruits of our labor?

Thursday, March 4, 2010 is 8 Caban, Earth in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar.  We know the benefit of respite, those times when we recharge, renew, and catch our second wind.  In our travels we have rest stops, in our races we have pit time.  Everything benefits in the long run.

How do we carry this concept into our day?  Learn to step away, refocus. Tomorrow will bring more of this ability to see past the illusions, but for today let the starts and stops work together.
