The transition between yesterday’s message from Ben, the Reed and today’s is one of both support and challenge. Today I see and hear the voice of Ix, the Jaguar, encouraging us through the expectation that if we are given something the intent is that we use it. Simple idea, isn’t it?
We can look at our replenishing in many ways. If we look at the Mayan calendar itself we see that Eb, the road and Ben, the reed work together in a step form, carrying what we have come to see as a divine source coming down to us from the universe, and acknowledging that yes we can have that abundant energy for ourselves. We cannot stop there, and so we come to the point represented by Ix, the jaguar.
You asked for it, you got it, now what are you going to do with it? This world doesn’t really care about infinite possibilities. This is a “put it in my hand, fill my belly” world. You can ask for an apple, and hold it in your hand but what do you gain at that point? Chew well, make it your own by actions.
Today is Monday, March 1, 2010 is 5 Ix, the Jaguar in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. We cannot know what we are capable of in either our ability to do or our capacity to have until we step forward and do it.
