In the order of things, we always find a gentle place to land when our world falls apart, or when it feels that way! So it is with the day of the Deer following yesterday’s sign of death. The thing is we’re so caught up in controlling everything in our lives that it’s difficult to introduce new visions without a little shake up. We might think its some great cosmic message coming to awaken us, but usually it is only our own higher self.
Sunday, March 14, 2010 is 5 Manik, the Deer or Hand in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. What does that mean? As much as we put ourselves in challenging places, or bring doubt or uncertainty in instead of supporting our dream, the hand that supports us is never far away.
There are pro’s and con’s: we’ve got so much creative latitude, and invest so much of ourselves into our life experiences, that we can easily lose ourselves in the process. The story shared through the glyph of Manik, the Deer, is that we have the support we need even when we feel like we’re free-floating.
Of course we still have a lot of work to do. We have to decide when to let go and when to take hold. The great thing about this land of free-will is that no matter which way we go we can learn and benefit from it.
