We’re fortunate that the road has its flexibility, not forcing us to always see what is ahead of us. In the same sense we should not always be expected to follow the straight and narrow. Life is such a big puzzle built of a whole lot of everyday and a speckle of creativity to make something new without being too overwhelming.
The road holds a similar quality, with the same dirt and rocks found along the way, but the twists and turns make this road unique. We’ve had a whole lot of living, up to this point, and while tomorrow will give us much of the same it still is a new day, brighter even in the darkness with the light of the full moon.
Where will the road lead us? We always say, “We’ll see”, yet with so much of what we know, the familiar carried forward, how can we say we don’t know? Yet that element of surprise will be there, to awaken and amuse us every step of the way.
