The world spins, flying through space in its revolutions around its star source. Our world turns, with the people and events flying in and out of our awareness as well. Even when something becomes a finished product it is still within the scope of evolution, destined to change yet again at some point in time.
Sunday May 23 is 10 Caban, the Earth in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. Time is relative, according to Einstein, and given the chance any of us can find examples in our life of time at its slowest, and time moving far too quickly. We never stay in any moment. But we do have memory, and have created many means of capturing the moment. By design we are not allowed to stand still, yet we have the capability to create things that allow us to do just that.
What does all this mean? We look back at the source of today’s message and we find the number ten, oftentimes associated with completion, and the Earth named Caban in the Mayan Tzolkin. Life is a true work in progress, it is a series of moments chained together in time, a ripple of energy in the tapestry of the world we live in. With the duality of our yin yang world we have both the significance of each step we take and the humility of being one of many. In between we find a wealth of opportunity.
