Throughout time there have been signs to guide us along the way. Do we call the roadmap of life a series of signs, or are they just patterns of behavior? Did we see the image of a face within the dew drops, or was the sudden outburst from the sky a message? The bible shares the story of Jesus talking of the awareness of the people: ‘They can read the sky, knowing how tomorrow will be, but they cannot read the signs within themselves’.
Today we look for signs and call it ‘response’ or even go so far as calling it market research. My point is not about some ancient way of interpreting the world around us. It is the point that we do interpret what we see. We have the most amazing abilities and get stronger when we see it, and acknowledge it. That’s what it’s all about: seeing how truly capable we are. Most of us hide our capabilities under a cloak and when we take them out we diminish those powers.
