Which way do we go? We take the seed, and grow it into something that will fill our bellies or profit us is such a way that we can build more. The seed is here to give us what we need. We cannot make the seed grow, that is within its scope, but we are able to influence its surroundings. With our intervention the seed can prosper. From the seed comes many, and those many can fill many needs, both in the moment and in the future. The seed is both our task and our provider.
Today is 4 Kan, the Seed in the Mayan calendar. Today we see the fullness of the cycle, the transition that surprisingly returns back to its original state. We grow, yet we always have new beginnings. We never stop being the seed of tomorrow.
Which way do we go? Its easy to focus on tomorrow, thinking that things will remain the same, or hoping that they are not the same. We cannot step out of the cycle though, even though our minds can go anywhere we like. The physical will always have its steps along the way, and our greatest contribution and involvement is Being Here Now.
