My posting being late this morning, all I can say is time was spent focusing on what I love, and I admit that scope does go beyond the Mayan Daily Insights. This is not so much a confession as the story for this day. Today is 11 Chuen, the meeting of the number 11 with the glyph meaning “Monkey” in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar.
Focusing on what we love: sometimes it’s as if it is a crime to do so, to work for or from our passion. But passion is our greatest motivator. Without passion how do we truly connect? Without passion how do we bridge our purpose to our actions?
I’ve been writing these posts for over two years. I’d love to see more comments from readers, dialog, stories, and perceptions. Let’s talk about passion. The easiest way to help others to learn is through motivation, engaging them in stories, sharing from the heart. So long as we stay focused and grounded we can develop our minds and practice our own way to express what we believe in and feel deep within.
Sure things can run amok. The glyph Chuen is of the inner child, and is described as the monkey, with the ability to bring mischief along with that passion. Given a little guidance though this ability to create from our innermost desires can be channeled into something tangible, even something productive.
