It was really fun yesterday to assume the superhero pose and play with the idea of being invincible. When we look more closely at our ability to accomplish our goals or anything in life it’s clear to see that it is not just a matter of exerting our energy, it is doing it in a way that gets us closer to achieving that goal.
Today we turn the two wheels of the Mayan Tzolkin calendar to the combination 4 Oc, the Dog. The symbol of the dog is one of loyalty and dedication, but in this instance we take it a step further and look at the commitment we make as we plant both feet on the ground and instill our energies into this very moment. This is a powerful statement to make, and a great act of giving to put everything we’ve got into each moment. It’s also far easier and less draining when we do give it our all rather than teetering on the edge and having to maintain both sides of the fence.
For today a great focus could be on giving 100 percent attention to any given task, whether it is driving the car, working on the computer, or whatever task is at hand. A wandering mind cannot do anything at its best.
