Yesterday’s words brought focus to the vast array of directions we can face, and all the details we try to hold on to, and the message was about letting those things go that don’t help us get where we want to be. Pretty darn simple, eh?
Today we talk about the earth, not like Earth Day, every day is earth day, you know what I mean?
In the Mayan Tzolkin calendar the wheels today turn to a combination of 11 Caban, the Earth. Stay with me, please, it will all make sense in a minute. If you haven’t already, go back and read yesterday’s post. From a cosmic perception we have the infinite, the all that is, and great abundance. We have everything, because on that cosmic level we step out of time so everything is in a sense happening all at once. That’s a lot going on.
We turn to the earth, today’s focus, and we have a lot going on. It all seems to be very complex, doesn’t it? Here’s my point. We are not the earth. We are not purely of the earth. No I am not talking about some alien theory. My point is that we are a combination of the earth stuff and the cosmic stuff. We are here with matter and thought, or in other words matter and energy. Without both we don’t get much done.
The message today is simple on this particular earth day: have both at the same time, and really own your place in this world from that perspective that its not just what’s under your feet or in your hand, and its not just the universal energies, trends or whatever else you might call it. What counts is in the middle, and that is you.
