There are few times when Christianity and the Mayan Tzolkin calendar are seen as supporting the same ideas, but those parallels can be found. Today I share with you one such idea.
Yesterday we focused on the day of manifestation, celebrating the life or breath we have been given. Today we are in the 11th day in the Mayan Tzolkin, with the glyph or symbol of Akbal, the Night or the House. How does this relate to any Christian belief?
In Mark 6:6 it is said, “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” In the Mayan calendar, in my interpretation, the combination we find today of 11 Akbal, the Night or House makes this exact statement.
We live, we create, and we “reap what we sow”, yet another Christian paralleled belief. What comes next? Do we wake up tomorrow and repeat the exact same thing? Many times yes, we do just that. Day in and day out, lifetime after lifetime we repeat so many things. But we are more than just our actions, we have the ability to learn from what we live.
Today is a great day to celebrate life, carrying forward the things we have allowed into our perception, finding their meaning on both an outer and inward way, and nourishing our own evolution in this lifetime.
