I really do enjoy writing these posts, they are all original and unique, even though the Mayan calendar repeats itself every 260 days. Here’s what I love the most about it. Our empowerment and abilities are not found where we expect them to be. Consciousness, for example, is not so much an action as it is a state of being. The Jaguar is known for its strength even though the majority of the time it is silent and still. Every day we have opportunities to discover our own abilities and strengths in a fluid, flowing way that gives us a strong foundation. This is the way we find happiness and live our life supporting our own dreams and beliefs with ease and grace.
Today we have the combination of 6 Etznab, the Flint. There is a spark within the body or physical realm that we could call Akbal. There is a higher consciousness space as well, a place where we build our foundation and our boundaries. This space is a great place to be within all the elements we have to work with, the strengths and abilities found in each of the Mayan Tzolkin glyphs. But we cannot use this space when it is cluttered by the minute details and petty complaints.
Today we are reminded to clear ourselves of those things that do not matter, so we can see our own light. Our task to to ask the question, are our biggest challenges really the the most important?
