It is said that the silence of our source is a most deafening sound. Presence takes place without being accompanied by any action, thought, or direction, it simply exists. It is difficult for us to linger in this space, after all we must take that next breath, and our minds must assess to assure our physical survival.
Today the combination of glyph and tone turn to 8 Ahau, the Light or Lord. This combination comes as the moon reaches its fullest form for the month. This brings light, pun intended, to the message in yesterday’s posting.
There is a calming effect found in todays message, one that inspires us to slow down for a moment and be, simply be. The number 8, in this perspective, gives us that three dimensional view of the four corners, the four directions and seasons. We have the expression “four corners of the world” and what gives live to each and every one of us spans the world around.
Tomorrow we reach the day of Imix, the very primal sign of creation. That sign comes with the number 9, a number seen as very spiritually empowering. Today is not about the fanfare, but with anything in life we choose: when you go anywhere in life, would you go their in pieces, hoping to find the answers, or would you rather go their fully formed and complete?
We are works in progress, in a constant state of giving and receiving by means of thoughts and breath. We will never again be what we were yesterday, and will be different again tomorrow. How do we then define who we are? We talked about the four corners of the earth, a very solid perception, but then again where does the light begin and end? The light, too, is flowing, yet most enriching and embracing. Today is a wonderful day to emulate Ahau, the Light.
