When faced with writing this morning’s post I was not clear at first what the message would be. I wandered about, checking email, following other pathways, but then I returned to complete my task. For what purpose? I am certainly not required in any way to write these posts, yet I do it anyway, working diligently at that.
This is the backbone of the message today, how we hold true to what we believe in, even to the smallest details. When a follower looks into the eyes of a long honored goddess they know what to expect to some degree. There is consistency in the past behaviors, giving cause for calling Quan Yin the goddess of compassion, for example. Not only is there consistency in the past but also in the present time. Looking into the eyes of grace there is an instant receptivity, an opening of the heart, and acceptance. No one gives that much of themselves without feeling confident that they will be treated well.
Today is 11 Oc, the Dog in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar, and that is the message presented today: in the eyes of grace there is an approachability because there is consistency. This fits right in alignment of the message that Oc inspires within us, consistency in our actions and thoughts. Holding true to our own purpose makes it so much easier for others to understand us, and as far as that goes it makes it so much easier for us to believe in what we are doing. Add to this the many other attributes (glyphs in the Mayan calendar) such as commitment, compassion, flexibility, vision, etc and you will find you hold the recipe for success.
As for me, I returned to complete my posting for this very reason, not because I have to, but because it is what I chose to do. This is actually the easiest path, for that consistency assures me that I am doing what is best, what is right, and what serves both myself and others. Please share your comments.
