This week we’ve covered some very deep concepts, not so much focused on having answers but on forming questions. Having questions is really not a lack but a powerful tool we possess for creating depth of character and expanded consciousness. Today we will take a turn and look into something a little simpler, and that is the ability we have to look at things in a granular way, seeing one tiny part of the bigger picture.
Today we turn the wheel of the Mayan Tzolkin calendar to 5 Kan, the Seed. Earlier this week we began this 13 day count with Ahau, the Light, and we often see the light as the “all that is”, as something much bigger than we are, something big and great. Isn’t it great that we can live in such tiny increments, taking one day at a time, one step followed by another, and so on?
Look at how our own life begins, with two becoming one, and that one cell then dividing into two, each a single complete cell, and the process repeats as we grow into a living, breathing, conscious life. That in itself is amazing, but when we add to the mix the many possibilities of what that life can then create, where does it end? It never does seem to end, for the seed comes around and around, time and time again. The seed is not so little, it contains everything in life and it can always be the start of something big.
