Good Cause for Celebration

Hey, we have good cause for celebration! What is that, you may ask? Many good things, and in this world with our vision and willingness to apply ourselves for a job well done, we can celebrate exactly that.

Look at what we have to work with, so many great abilities that we often take for granted: creativity, vision, passion, recognizing need, purpose, commitment, compassion, introspect, letting go of the old, movement, and so much more. Not only that but we have the ability to enjoy not just our hard work but also the fruits of our labor. It all adds together, and sometimes our efforts snowball into something big, or it snowballs into a big mess. Either way we have cause for celebration.

7 Chicchan, the Monkey (correction, the serpent!) is the tone and glyph combination from the Mayan Tzolkin calendar that we delve into today. Chicchan is all about that passion, recognizing that we are amazing creators, having moved far past mere survival. Or maybe we should call it “creative survival”? Either way we have good cause for celebration, but today let’s not focus on what we have done.

How do we use this concept from Chicchan, the Monkey in your world today? Look at the monkey in its everyday life, and remember that you can enjoy every step along the way. Let’s celebrate today the fact that we can recognize what we have accomplished, learning, living and growing every day.

The Mayan Daily Insights is a free intuitive interpretation of the 260 Glyph and Tone combinations found in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar. This calendar system was more than the counting of days, it was a spiritual journey, the story of life itself. What aspects of the Mayan calendar are woven into your life, and what abilities are you ready to discover? Learn more through a Life Profile reading session by email.

    Hello,
I follow your blog daily and appreciate the hard work you put into it. It brings a fresh fortune to my life and I love it.
I would like to just mention the discrepancy of Chuen the monkey and today’s glyph Chicchan which is actually “the Serpent.”

  • Thank you for comments, every one of them. Yes, I too do make mistakes. I try to limit them, but mistakes are also a great spotlight to bring us back to clarity, aren’t they? Thanks for pointing it out.

I also appreciate the feedback on the postings overall! Thank you, in the internet world it is sometimes difficult to know how well we are received. Funny, that’s exactly the story told in today’s posting, LOL!!
