This week we are taking a very strange look at the Mayan calendar and the many glyphs. There are characters that are presented in those glyphs, qualities of our human experience that fit together in a way that builds and grows. Each attribute is a library of knowledge in itself, and when we look at those glyphs in their relationship to one another, well the stories go on and on.
Today we focus on the Mayan calendar combination of 3 Ix, the Jaguar. It’s all relational, a tone we began two days ago, and carry forward to this day. When we look at the character of the Jaguar, what do we see? Strength, agility, keen observation, the ability to strike with great force.
The title of this posting is “Success: The three step process”. With anything in life we will always see three steps. First we have an idea, and that means we create a space or container for that new thought to become reality. We talked about that yesterday with Ben, the Reed. The next step is to bring together the elements needed to make that dream come true. Last but not least we have the creation, investing our time and energy and following through to completion. We’ll talk about step three tomorrow.
For today let’s talk about the middle of that three step process. Yesterday’s post said “All the world’s a stage”, and we are the character, we bring the character. The stage will be, with our without us, and acts will come and go. What makes one act stand out? It is the one where the actor is so true to that character and gives it everything they’ve got. They live the part, fully and completely. Returning to the Jaguar, Ix, there is the use of our power and strength in a focused, direct way. The movement of the jaguar is concise.
Tomorrow we talk about part III in the three part elements of success. Today is the day to stand in the middle, being the pivotal part of any successful venture in life.
