In today’s story, bringing together this day’s Mayan Tzolkin tone and glyph with an intuitive description, I’m reminded of the salt water isolation tanks that were popular back in the late 1980′s. While within the tank, floating in a body temperature salt water solution, there is no light, no sound. It was a feeling of being suspended in space, taking away the comfort given to us by our physical senses. The image I see for today also congers up thoughts of being in a sort of womb, an impression that many used to describe the therapeutic isolation chambers.
Today’s combination in the Mayan Tzolkin calender is 4 Muluc, the Water. It is strange how we can look at our own human body and call it singular, despite the fact that is is a harmonious, interconnected universe within itself. Science has given us opportunity to go much further than this, showing us the universe contained in a drop of water.
The connection between these images and descriptions of contained forces and today’s Mayan Tzolkin symbol of 4 Muluc, the Water? Water composes 75 percept of our world, and our body contains at the least 50 percent water. It is the liquid thread that connects everything that is within and everything that supports us. Is there some great moral behind these statements? No, it is just another indication that no matter how small we feel at times, or how big, we are always surrounded. During those times when we feel alone, we are always surrounded. Does this contain us in any way, or force any form of control over us? No, not in the sense of our self-expression. This is an amazing place, an amazing world, to be so interlaced within the whole yet so independent.
What can we do to bring consciousness to these concepts and strengthen ourselves through our actions? Dr. Emoto stated it clearly that our thoughts can be easily imprinted in water: within our cells, the water we drink, and the world around us. Use your thoughts wisely.
