Who said life can’t be all fun and games? Ask any of the great creators, it is our passion and enjoyment of what we do that is the real reward. Our enjoyment is also the greatest fuel to making anything happen, drawing us closer to our own creation, instilling into our world the joy in our hearts and the spark of spirit presence that is life itself.
Today in the Mayan Daily Insights we focus on 13 Chuen, the Monkey. This is the shift before the first day of a new 13 day climb to the next level. If you work toward anything in life don’t you want it to be fun? This does not mean abandoning anything we interpret as difficult or routine, and running off to join the circus. It means being the one who makes it whatever it will be, instilling the joy of living in everything you do.
That’s it, a simple message. There is also so much more to this story. As I delved into the spiritual vision of today’s posting I saw more than just Chuen, the Monkey. I also saw the other glyphs, residing there as a part of the creative, playful expression of the Monkey self. It takes a village to raise a child, they say, and it is true. We have our outer circle, and we have our inner circle as well. All the attributes showcased in the Mayan Tzolkin calendar are a part of us, there to be expressed and developed as we climb each 13 day ladder, growing and creating every step of the way.
It’s funny, the random music playing in the background if my own world at this moment is “Over the Rainbow“, sung by Israel. How ironically connected, the subject of my posting and the message of the song.
